Man who killed pregnant woman in random Grimsby attack 'was cool as a cucumber'

The man suspected of stabbing to death a heavily pregnant woman in broad daylight walked away “as cool as a cucumber” and shrugged his shoulders when confronted by police, witnesses said.
While Claire Wilson, 22, walked to work in the centre of Grimsby she was stabbed in the back in a completely random attack. Claire was seven months pregnant. The police arrested a 53-year-old man who were sitting in traffic just yards away. Detective Superintendent Christine Kelk of Humberside Police said that there was no obvious motive for the attack, and said: “The tragic thing about this is that it was completely random. Miss Wilson’s friend, Dave Stembridge, 18, said: “She just didn’t deserve it. She was one of the greatest people anyone would want to meet.
Miss Wilson’s boyfriend, Mr Kennard, was heard shouting and screaming on the scene shortly after the attack. Today he spent nearly half an hour on the spot where his girlfriend had died with a group of family and friends, and left a “Baby Girl” balloon as a tribute. Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, but said that the area was likely to have been quiet due to heavy rain at the time of the incident.

This is so horrible and horrifying. These things happen more often lately and nobody is safe. I cannot understand people that do such things, what is wrong with them? When you have a sick mind or a problem you should do it to yourself and not to innocent people. The killers often haven’t got a motive to kill someone and that makes me very angry. The thing that makes it even worse is that this man hasn’t killed one person but two. Poor Claire hasn’t got the chance to give birth to her child. I really hope that this killer will get what he deserves!
